Keith graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1972. He then received his Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University Law School in Baton Rouge in 1976. Keith has been admitted to practice in Louisiana and the U.S. Federal Court since 1976.

Keith’s practice is currently limited to Consumer Bankruptcy and small business bankruptcy cases –Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 only. In prior years, he represented debtors, Bankruptcy Trustees, and creditors in bankruptcy. In addition, he was significantly involved as Class Counsel in the handling and successful settling of significant class action cases in Louisiana and Texas alleging antitrust and fraud violations by the defendants. Keith has successfully represented clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13.

Keith is certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization as a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist. He is also a Board Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification-Senior Status. He was also previously certified as a Business Bankruptcy Specialist, but his practice is now primarily limited to consumer bankruptcy. He has previously served on the Louisiana Bankruptcy Board of Bankruptcy Certification.

Keith is a member of the Shreveport Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Association, and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. In addition, he has appeared as a speaker for numerous Bankruptcy Seminars for bankruptcy attorneys over many years.
